Hi, I'm Deeptendu, an engineer passionate about the intersection of science and software. I'm driven by the conviction that computational tools, especially AI, can fundamentally accelerate scientific discovery.
My recent work focused on enhancing simulations of binary black hole and black hole-neutron star mergers to better predict their gravitational wave signatures. The full paper is available on arXiv.
Currently, I am exploring methods to streamline human-LLM interactions and developing goldfish.
I have been a previous Google Summer of Code (GSoC) contributor and mentor and a very strong advocate for open science and software. This year I aim to contribute more to Julia Language and PyTorch compiler ecosystem.
I love talking about LLMs, why OOP is bad, type theory, and tech-twitter drama. Feel free to reach out to me on X or you can try rickrolling me at hi@[thiswebsite].
